2.1. Any personal (contact) data that you may provide to Surrey HUA will only be held on our secure servers.

2.2. Personal (contact) data is defined under two headings

2.3. Some elements of personal (contact) information may be “hidden” from public view and other elements may have the “option to hide”. Some contact data, if hidden, may impact on SHUA’s ability to function effectively.

2.4. The personal (contact) information of SHUA Officers and key post holders is made available on the website.

3. Purposes of the Processing

3.1. Your personal (contact) data, as supplied and updated by you, shall only be used for the purposes of SHUA operating effectively as an umpiring association and this may involve passing your information to a higher umpiring or hockey association when necessary.

3.2. Your personal (contact) data shall not be made available to any other party unless we specifically have your instruction so to do.

3.3. The provision of personal (contact) data is a requirement in order that use of the personal area and/or administration area of the SHUA web site is available.

3.4. As a recreational body we shall hold your personal (contact) data for the purposes as set out above.

4. Consent

4.1. We require you to acknowledge that our Data Protection Policy is in force and working for you.

4.2. You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to continue to hold your information at any time.

4.2.1. You can do this by writing to SHUA for the attention of the Data Protection Team.

4.2.2. This will trigger the removal of your personal (contact) information as defined above.

5. Review of this policy

5.1. SHUA shall make periodic reviews of this policy

5.2. In the event of any changes to this policy a fresh form of consent will be required from you if we are to continue to hold your personal (contact) data.

6. Complaints

6.1. You have the right, at any time, to lodge a complaint to us the way in which your personal data is being used.

6.2. If we are unable to satisfy your concern you may write to the Information Commissioners Office in the UK.
